Elizabeth Blackwell is a multimedia artist who explores expression through sculpture, print, and video. Her work is semi-autobiographical, wanting to connect with her audience's emotional memory. Creating installations that make room for conversations on grief, loneliness, and stunted growth. Her work centers on immersion and audience interaction. She wants audiences to walk away with an experience of a part of herself. She enjoys narrative drawing. Her storytelling is heavy with kitschy character design. Her stories escape to a fantasy realm of childhood tinted with an unsettling smile. Smiles are a constant in her work of persona; smiles are the most threatening of lies.
